Empowering Learning are recruiting a dedicated Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for a busy secondary school in East London. This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership, excellent knowledge of safeguarding legislation, and a passion for protecting vulnerable students.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
Develop, implement, and monitor safeguarding policies and procedures
Lead staff training on safeguarding and child protection
Liaise with parents, social services, and external agencies to protect students
Maintain accurate records and monitor safeguarding concerns
Support students with SEN, SEMH, and other additional needs
