A welcoming and inclusive faith primary school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from 1st September 2025. This Teaching Assistant role is part-time (4 days per week) and will run for the full academic year until July 2026, with additional paid opportunities to support breakfast and afterschool clubs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant who thrives working in Key Stage 1, specifically supporting children in Year 1 and Year 2.

Position Details:

• Start Date: 1st September 2025

• Working Pattern: 4 days per week (Part-time)

• Hours: 08:30am - 3:45pm (plus optional breakfast/afterschool clubs)

• Pay: £95-£105 per day (PAYE)

• Contract: Long-term until July 2026

Your Role as a Teaching Assistant Will Include:

• Providing general classroom support across Year 1 and Year 2

• Supporting pupils with additional needs and SEND to access learning

• Assisting with classroom management and behaviour

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent and targeted support

To Be Considered for This Teaching Assistant Role, You Must:

• Have previous classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant

• Be confident managing behaviour in a calm and positive manner

• Have experience supporting children with SEND and additional needs

• Be proactive, reliable, and passionate about working with young children
