GSL Education are looking for a helpful and caring Primary Teaching Assistant to join lovely schools in Rotherham. This job suits someone who enjoys spending time with children and helping them do well. We have flexible roles available right away—whether you want full-time, part-time, short-term or long-term work.

As a Primary TA, you will support the teacher in the classroom and help pupils with their learning. You will also help children feel safe, confident, and happy at school.

Main Duties:

Support the teacher with lessons and classroom tasks.
Work with small groups or individual pupils during activities.
Help pupils who may need extra care and support.
Encourage children to enjoy learning and behave well.
Work closely with teachers, other staff, and families.
What You Need:

Experience working with primary-aged children is helpful.
A kind, calm, and positive attitude.
Able to work well with others and follow instructions.
Willing to work in different schools if needed.
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
