Assembly Operative

People Solutions are looking for  highly organised and detail-oriented Assembly Operatives to join our clients busy operations team in Appleby Magna.

The role involves assembling ignition / spark plug cable sets for the Motor Racing and High Performance markets and involves using hand tools.   

Finished sets will be inspected for quality to ensure a high standard of workmanship.    If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to produce a high standard of assembly work, would love to hear from you. 

Shifts:

Monday - Friday: 9am - 4.20pm (can be flexible) 

Rates of pay:

£12.71 per hour + monthly bonus scheme

Day-to-Day-Duties:

Your duties as an Assembly Operative will be:

• Assembly of ignition / spark plug cable set (full training given) 

• Use of hand tools to carry out tasks. 

• Quality checking work before inspection. 

• Adhering to the site’s health & safety regulations and procedures. 

Essential Skills:

The skills required to be an Assembly Operative are: 

• Conscientious and hard working

• Experience of assembly or production work

• Experience of using hand tools

• Must have good hand-eye coordination

• Very good eye for detail 

 Training:

• Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout
