MIG Welder / Fabricator
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Salary: up to £35,000 starting salary
Hours: 38.5 hours per week + Overtime (paid at 1.5x)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator on behalf of a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer based in Solihull. The Role - Key Responsibilities:

* MIG welding of mild and stainless steel (2mm - 15mm)

* Interpreting and working from engineering drawings

* Fabricating components for bespoke commercial vehicles

* Carrying out positional welding to a high standard

* Using overhead cranes for safe material handling

* Working closely with the fabrication and engineering teams to meet production deadlines

Requirements - What You'll Need:

* Proven experience in MIG/MAG welding

* Experience working with both mild and stainless steel

* Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings

* Skilled in positional welding

* Experience using overhead cranes (desirable)

* Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality

Working Hours:

Rotating weekly shift pattern:

* Week 1: Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 2:00pm

* Week 2: Monday to Thursday - 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Friday - 2:00pm to 7:00pm

38.5 hours per week, with regular overtime available at 1.5x
