Stephen James Consulting is partnering with one of our clients to recruit Registered Managers for children's residential homes based in the Staffordshire area.
We are currently recruiting for multiple homes supporting young people with learning disabilities and emotional & behavioural difficulties (LD/EBD).
Key Responsibilities:

Managing the day-to-day running of a children's residential home
*
Ensuring high standards of safeguarding and care in line with Ofsted regulations
*
Leading, developing, and supporting the staff team
*
Driving positive outcomes for young people through a structured and supportive environment
*
Managing compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements
*
Building strong relationships with external professionals and stakeholders
To be considered for this role, you will need:
*
Strong experience within a children's residential setting
*
Current or previous Registered Manager experience within a children's home
*
A minimum of 3 years' combined experience across Deputy Manager and Registered Manager roles
*
A strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations
*
Experience supporting young people with LD/EBD
*
Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
This role requires a confident, experienced manager who can lead from the front and is not new to registration.
These roles are based within small, 4-bed homes, offering a hands-on leadership environment with a strong focus on quality and outcomes.
The salary for this role is £60,000 depending on experience.
