The Job Role:

* Developing a good understanding of their products

* Quoting prices, quantities of stock, specifications of the products ordered and delivery times Liaise with existing clients and be able to build a strong working relationship across a niche industry sector

* Operate a business-to-business marketplace, selling products mainly to engineering and manufacturing companies for reliable delivery and quantity of stock which is cut to size/ weight

* Handle complaints or objections

* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets

Experience/ Requirements:

* Experience / knowledge of steel and measurements is essential

* Knowledge of the engineering/ manufacturing industry would be beneficial

* An ability to grow knowledge and understanding of the products

* Ability to understand a varied client base and their needs

* Confidence when working with mathematical calculations (offering quotes based on price per kilo) (phone number removed)

Great telephone manner and enjoys working on the phone
