Are you a dedicated leader with a passion for transforming the lives of young people? We are looking for an experienced and resilient Registered Home Manager to head up our 3-bed residential home in Doncaster, specializing in supporting children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This isn't just about "running a service." It's about creating a therapeutic sanctuary where three young people can finally feel safe, heard, and supported to reach their full potential.
The RoleAs the Registered Manager, you will hold the reins of the home's daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and Ofsted compliance. You will be the heart of the home, balancing the "business" of management with the "heart" of therapeutic care.
Key Responsibilities:
Ofsted Excellence: Maintain a minimum 'Good' rating, striving for 'Outstanding' through rigorous quality assurance.
Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a team of support workers and seniors, fostering a culture of reflective practice.
Therapeutic Environment: Implement individualized care plans that address the complex trauma and behavioral needs of our residents.
Financial Oversight: Manage the home's budget effectively while ensuring resources are prioritized for the children's wellbeing.
Safeguarding: Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring robust protection protocols are always in place.
What We're Looking ForWe need a "people person" with a backbone of steel and a heart of gold. You should be someone who remains calm in a crisis and leads by example.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as a Deputy or Home Manager in a residential childcare setting (specifically EBD).
Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Knowledge: Deep understanding of Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and the Children Act.
