Learning Support Assistant - Secondary Schools - Southwark - Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for committed and experienced Learning Support Assistants to join mainstream secondary schools in Southwark. This is for full-time, long-term roles starting immediately and running through to the end of the academic year.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working closely with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), providing both in-class support and targeted interventions. You'll work alongside teachers and the SENCO to help implement support strategies, adapt lesson materials, and ensure students are fully engaged in their learning.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

Previous experience working with children in an educational or care-based setting

Experience supporting students with SEND

An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service

Strong communication skills and a calm, professional manner
