The Company

My client is a world leading manufacturer of specialist products, solutions and systems. They are part of a global business that supplies into multiple sectors both in the UK and internationally.

They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assembly Operative to support production as well as some warehousing and logistics duties.

The Role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager the Assembly Operative responsibilities will include assembly, testing and certification in compliance with Quality standards.

The role will also include:

* Correct following of processes and procedures for assembly

* Detailed inspection and testing

* Accurately recording and updating all relevant information

* Receiving goods from suppliers

* Picking orders for dispatch to customers

* Dispatch and tracking

* Maintaining stock accuracy

* Managing Customer returns

* Filing of all warehouse documentation

The Candidate

The ideal Assembly Operative will already have Assembly (and some Warehouse) experience gained within a Manufacturing environment. Being able to follow 'work instructions' to strict guidelines is crucial.

A knowledge of SAP / ERP or other warehouse management systems is required. However, some experience in Mechanical assembly and being a FLTD license holder is advantageous.
