If you're a hands-on, proactive and experienced Maintenance Engineer open to a new challenge and you'd like the opportunity to be part of something truly exciting then this could be the job for you...The successful candidate will have proven experience within a manufacturing based environment and will be electrically biased and will support in the smooth running of the site by delivering planned maintenance and resolving breakdowns. Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Responsibilities & Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or above
- Responsible for proactive and reactive maintenance works
- Working collaboratively with production teams
- Relevant engineering qualification
- Carrying out of the engineering activities
- Prioritisation of repair work
- PLC diagnostic experience (not programming)
- Continuous improvement experience, tools and techniques.
- Responsible for driving improvements across the site in terms of hygiene, quality, performance and machinery
- Keeping accurate maintenance logs
- Participating in root cause analysis and ongoing improvement projects
- Supporting machinery upgrades and new installations
- Consistent focus on health & safety regulations across the site
- Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive mindset and approach
