Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking for a rewarding supply teaching opportunity in St Helens? Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Secondary Maths Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in St Helens from after the Easter break until May half-term.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Maths Teacher, Early Career Teacher (ECT), or experienced secondary teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in a supportive and well-established mathematics department.

The Role - Maths Teacher

• Position: Secondary Maths Teacher
• Location: St Helens, Merseyside
• Start Date: After Easter 2026
• Duration: Until May Half-Term
• Key Stages: KS3 and KS4 Mathematics
• Pay: Up to £232.56 per day, depending on experience
• Contract Type: Full-time supply teaching role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons, supporting student progress, and maintaining a positive learning environment where pupils can thrive academically.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• A passion for raising attainment in secondary maths education
• The ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons

This role would suit both experienced secondary maths teachers and ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment.
