Job Title: Electrical Shift Lead (Days Only)

Location: City of London

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum + Overtime Available

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days Only) - 7:00am to 6:00pm (11-hour shifts)

The Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Lead to join a leading facilities and engineering team based at a high-profile site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior electrical engineer looking to take on a leadership role within a stable days-only shift pattern.

As the Electrical Shift Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering operations during your shift, ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will act as the technical lead for electrical systems and support the wider engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the engineering team during your shift.

Carry out and oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance.

*

Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of electrical plant and associated building services.

*

Act as the Authorised Person for High Voltage (HV) systems where required.

*

Provide technical support and advanced fault-finding across site electrical infrastructure.

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures.

*

Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

*

Support the training and development of engineers within the team.

Requirements:

*

Recognised Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).

*

Valid High Voltage (HV) Certificate - Essential

*

Previous experience in a Shift Lead / Senior Electrical Engineer role.

*

Strong experience in fault-finding and electrical maintenance.

*

Experience working in commercial buildings, critical environments, or large facilities.

*

Strong leadership and communication skills.
