Are you a qualified secondary teacher seeking flexible and rewarding work in Bristol? We are working in partnership with a number of well-regarded secondary schools across South Bristol who are looking for reliable and adaptable QTS Supply Teachers to support KS3 and KS4 students.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers wanting greater flexibility, Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to build classroom experience, or professionals returning to teaching. Many supply roles can lead to long-term placements or permanent opportunities.

The Role

As a Secondary QTS Supply Teacher, you will:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
Maintain a focused and positive classroom environment
Ensure students remain engaged and on task
Adapt to teaching within your subject specialism or across a range of subjects

Key Responsibilities

Teach engaging lessons using provided resources
Manage classroom behaviour with confidence and consistency
Provide clear instructions and guidance to students
Promote independence, engagement, and positive behaviour
Follow safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies
Build strong relationships with students and staff
Adapt quickly to different school settings and expectations

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Confidence in delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4
Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
Reliable, organised, and committed to safeguarding
Open to both experienced teachers and ECTs
