Serves as a back up to other payroll clerks to ensure the accurate, efficient, and timely processing of all payroll for hourly, salary, and union employees
Enters, reviews, verifies, and corrects time and attendance, pay documents, and electronic transactions from schools and/or offices in a geographic area.
Processes other routine transactions, including address changes, W4 updates, and name changes.
Tracks, records, and processes employee use of leave transactions.
Receives, distributes, and files documents.
Sets up and maintains spreadsheets and logs.
Enters and retrieves information from databases.
Organizes and maintains electronic and paper document filing systems.
Ability to communicate effectively, follow rules and regulations, establish and maintain effective working relationships, and maintain confidentiality of employee and system records.
