This excellent school are seeking an experienced and confident Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to take the lead in safeguarding and child protection across the school. This is a vital leadership role, and they are looking for someone with extensive DSL experience, rather than a Deputy DSL stepping into their first lead role.
The Ideal Candidate Will: - Have a strong track record as a Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Be confident managing complex safeguarding cases and working with external agencies
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practice
- Be an excellent communicator and team leader
- Be proactive, resilient, and committed to the wellbeing of all students
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage all aspects of safeguarding and child protection
- Act as the main point of contact for safeguarding concerns
- Provide training, support, and guidance to staff
- Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and school policies
- Foster a culture of safety, trust, and inclusion
