I am currently working with a primary school nestled in the heart of Strood, Kent. Position Overview:

I am seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1/2 Primary Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to Year 1 and Year 2 students, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students in Year 1/2.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.

Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instructional decisions and interventions.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities and share best practices.

Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding student progress, behaviour, and achievements.

Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably in Year 1/2.

Sound knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and experience in its implementation.

Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn and grow as an educator.
