General Operative

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join our well-established client based in Grimethorpe.

This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday
• 8am – 4pm

Rates of Pay:

• £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a General Operative will be:

• Packing foam kits
• Lifting and handling foam products
• Quality checking finished products
• Working on a gluing line
• General warehouse duties
• Opportunity to be trained on various machines

Essential Skills:

The skills required to be General Operative are:

• Previous experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
• Excellent timekeeping
• Ability to work to targets
• Full valid driving licence is essential

Desirable Experience:

• Previous warehouse or general operative experience

Training:

• Full industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout
