Smart Education is recruiting for a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to support a specialist primary school in Sheldon, Birmingham. This inclusive school caters for children aged 2 to 11 years with a wide range of complex and profound needs, including Hearing Impairment (HI), Physical Disabilities (PD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Visual Impairment (VI).

Role duties:
  • Support pupils during lunch with eating, mobility, and communication

  • Encourage positive social interaction in a nurturing environment

  • Assist with personal care as needed

  • Promote pupil safety and emotional wellbeing throughout the lunch period

  • Follow school guidance on care plans and communication strategies

  • Work closely with teaching and support staff to ensure consistency
