We're hiring for a 2D CAD Technician to join a growing team at a leading steel processing business based in Blackburn.
Working with a variety of CAD/CAM software, you'll play a vital role in converting customer drawings into high-quality CNC programs for manufacturing.
What's on offer?
* £30,000 - £32,000 per year
* Monday - Friday (rotating shifts: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
* Early finish on Fridays
* Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)

What will you be doing as a 2D CAD Technician?
* Creating accurate 2D CNC CAD programmes using CAD/CAM software
* Maintaining and updating the stock management system
* Liaising with the sales team to resolve customer CAD/drawing queries
* Carrying out general office admin and assisting with internal documentation
What do you need?
* Previous experience in a similar 2D CAD Technician or CAD/CAM programming role
* A relevant engineering qualification (desirable)
* Experience using 3D CAD software (desirable)
* Familiarity with steel processing or manufacturing environments (desirable)
