My Client seeks an ambitious Mechanical Design Engineer to support existing product line and develop new products to join a small team developing equipment for specialist food applications.

Their company is evolving into a dynamic design and manufacturing business, offering extensive knowledge and services within the mechanical engineering industry, specializing, Prototyping, Rapid Tooling and High/Low quantity Production.

They are a forward thinking progressive company with a modern office and factory serving some of the biggest consumer brands in the world with specialist food processing equipment.

Key Skills

- Experienced Mechanical Designer

- Able to work independently.

- Confident with geometrical tolerancing

- Experienced designing for CNC manufacture

- Confident to visit site and supervise installations

Beneficial but not essential experience

- Autodesk Inventor and vault

- Design for food safety / clean design

- Pressure systems / extruder experience

Hours of Work

- Basic week of 37 ½ Hours

- 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday

- 5 weeks holiday

Remuneration

- Salary £25k-£50k basic - Paid overtime - Bonus based on company performance (not contractual) - Critical Illness cover - Annual pay reviews - Pension - Plenty of overtime - International Travel
