Daytime Healthcare are assisting a leading children's care organisation, who are looking for a Deputy Manager to join their brand new 4-bed Children's Residential Home based in Bexley. This role is for an experience Deputy Manager, that would like to step up into a Registered Manager role. There is also full support available.

As a Deputy Manager you will report to the Registered Manager and support with all aspects of the day-to-day operations, including managing budgets to ensure the business remains viable by meeting and exceeding key performance indicators for people, quality and performance. You will lead, motivate and manage staff and home resources to ensure high standards of service are achieved within the home, exceeding regulatory standards.

Duties:

• To join a team of residential care staff ensuring that safe and appropriate care practices are always maintained
• To support the Manager in all aspects of the home’s operation, whilst maintaining positive childcare practice, in keeping with the aims and objectives of the home
• To provide a safe, warm and supportive environment to our residents whilst being involved in the planning and organisation of the home

Experience:

It is essential that you have previous experience in a Children's Residential setting, with preferably previous experience as a Deputy Manager.

You should also ideally have started the NVQ level 4 or 5 in Children`s Residential.
