JOB - Production Engineer
LOCATION - High Wycombe
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £30,000 to £36,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is working with a manufacturing company based in High Wycombe who are looking to hire a Production Engineer to support their growing operations team.

The Production Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Degree in Engineering or a related field

Proven experience in a production engineering environment

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling design

Experience with process improvement and lean manufacturing principles

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively

Competence in reading technical drawings and specifications

Strong communication and organisational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software (desirable)

The Production Engineer role will involve:

Supporting production processes and ensuring efficient manufacturing operations

Designing and developing tooling, jigs, and fixtures to aid production

Identifying and implementing process improvements to optimise workflow and reduce waste

Working closely with design, quality, and manufacturing teams

Troubleshooting production issues and providing technical support

Maintaining production documentation and ensuring compliance with quality standards

Assisting with new product introductions and production planning
