Payroll Administrator: Have you got extensive experience as a Payroll Administrator? Are you currently looking for a new opportunity? If yes, then Office Angels has an exciting opportunity for you. We are currently recruiting for a fantastic Payroll Administrator to work for one of our fantastic clients in the heart of Twickenham! They are looking for an experienced candidate to ensure the effective provision of payroll services and the administration of employment policies, practices and benefits. Duties would include but are not limited to: * The full start to finish administration of the designated payrolls in accordance with agreed objectives and performance targets. * To ensure the processing of the pension scheme is compliant and completed in a timely manner. * Process and raise payments for third party companies such as GAYE, CCV and DWP. * Prepare monthly tax and NIC’s payments to HMRC. * Responsible for the analysis of the Monthly payroll report ensuring all payments have been allocated to the correct budget costs as provided by the Finance department. * Providing annual reports to HMRC and employees. * To provide cover for the Payroll Administrators in processing other payrolls and general support to the Payroll department (including, for example, benefits administration). * Liaising with line departments to confirm employee details and pay data is correctly supplied. * To ensure the company policies are adhered to in accordance to employee’s pay when required. * Filing and office administration as required. * Actively collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and delivery of payroll strategic, business and operational plans * Act as an ambassador for, and promote the best interests of the RFU at all times, including the promotion of the RFU Core Values * Undertake such other duties as maybe required from time to time as are consistent with the responsibilities of the post and the needs of the RFU * Preferably have a payroll or accounts technician qualification. The Successful Candidate Ideally Has The Following Skills: * Extensive experience in Payroll. * The ability to demonstrate competence acquired through personal experience as a Payroll Clerk/Administrator running “in-house” payroll systems for at least 100 staff. * Have the ability to manually calculate payrolls * Demonstrate awareness of tax codes. * Experience of running multiple payrolls (weekly/monthly) within a environment of high volume staff turnover, would be beneficial. * Comprehensive knowledge of HMRC rules and legislative requirements, and experience in processing statutory payments. * Experience in dealing with taxable benefits such as company cars and healthcare, and have produced P11d’s, P60’s and P45 statements. * Must be familiar with basic accounting practices and costing principles, as will be required to code and report on earnings related cost allocations for our accounts department. * Must have background knowledge of RTI and Auto Enrolment processes. * Ideally educated to at least “GCSE” standard or vocational equivalent. * Must be highly numerate. * Demonstrate a thorough approach to work, showing great attention to detail and an ability to work accurately. * Must be “customer service” driven. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees from all parts of the company, and be * Ability to present a high professional image when representing the Company in person or by phone * Be an effective team member with sufficient flexibility with the ability to work on their own when required What This Role Can Offer: * Salary: £27,000 * Working hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm * Free Parking * Gym on site as well as discounts at Virgin Active * Medical Cover * Life Insurance * Pension By registering with Office Angels you will benefit from the support of a dedicated and experienced recruitment consultant, have access to various interviewing techniques, regular updates of the local employment market and consistent feedback on all applications.
