An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a Redditch-based residential groundworks contractor. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, the company is expanding its commercial team and is seeking a motivated QS to support delivery across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

-Maximise contract profitability across multiple projects

-Prepare and submit quotations for client variations

-Produce accurate monthly cost and value reports

-Maintain strong commercial controls throughout project lifecycles

-Identify and implement value engineering opportunities

-Carry out all standard commercial duties associated with the Quantity Surveyor role

Requirements

-Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential groundworks

-Strong commercial and contractual knowledge

-Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines

-Experience in value engineering

-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

-Strong communication and organisational skills
