Here is a little more about the required skills and experience:

Electronics knowledge/understanding.
Understanding of TC.
Previous work with precise electronic circuitry and components.
SMT Soldering.
Use of complex test/measurement equipment (Oscilloscopes, ARB's, DMM's etc.).
Fine Motor Skills.
Quality inspection of fine details.
Soldering.
Inspection of soldering to defined IPC Standard (Training Provided where necessary).
In depth knowledge of electrical components and circuitry.
Here is some more about the role of Electronic Manufacturing Technician:

To test and repair a wide variety of equipment.
Assess/sign calibration certificates for defined products.
Adherence to defined processes in assigned work area, including but not limited to; Standard Work Instructions, 5S Standards, Safe Systems of Work or Engineering Drawings.
To train fellow Operatives/Technicians on defined processes as requested by the relevant Production Team Leader.
Take part in the complex diagnosis and rework of products down to Component level and record and/or escalate faults.
Suggest and/or implement process/product improvements using the business system.
Partake in the creation, review and implementation of new procedures/work instructions.
As required and communicated by the Production Team Leader, take part in the diagnosis, root cause analysis & repair of customer defected returns.
