Electrical Installation Inspection & Testing Lead

🕒 Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-2:00pm
💰 Salary: £47,840 per annum
📅 Contract: Full-time, Permanent
🚗 Travel: Ad hoc and infrequent (occasional overnight stays may be required)

Are you a qualified Electrician with a passion for quality and compliance? We're recruiting for an Electrical Installation Inspection & Testing Lead to join a well-established engineering team based in Stone, Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of inspection and testing activities across a range of industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and complete electrical, instrumentation, and hazardous area testing documentation

* Conduct project installation inspections, pre-testing, and pre-commissioning

* Identify and resolve issues, offering guidance to junior team members

* Collaborate with Engineering and Project teams on drawings and documentation

* Manage lock-out/tag-out procedures as required

Additional Duties:

* Work in line with ISO 9001 standards

* Support the wider Electrical and Mechanical teams

* Contribute to the smooth running of the Production Team

Qualifications & Experience:

* Fully qualified Electrician with completed apprenticeship

* Industrial experience essential

* C&G Level 2 & 3 Diplomas in Electrical Installations (2365)

* C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (2382)

* C&G Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations (2391)

* CompEx Ex01-Ex04 (desirable - training can be provided)

* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Desirable Skills:

* Experience in quality-driven industries (e.g. Automotive, Aerospace)

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

* Excellent communication and time management
