🔧 The Role

You'll support the Senior QS and Commercial Manager in the delivery of a major construction scheme, gaining hands-on experience on a flagship project with a nationally recognised main contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with measurement and valuation of works

*

Supporting procurement and subcontractor administration

*

Preparing interim applications and cost reports

*

Maintaining accurate records and assisting with variations

*

Liaising with operational teams, suppliers and subcontractors

*

Learning from senior team members to develop your commercial skillset

👤 About You

*

Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role (placement or post-graduate) with a main contractor

*

Degree-qualified or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar

*

Familiar with construction contracts (e.g. NEC or JCT)

*

Eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced, professional environment

*

Strong attention to detail, with good communication and teamwork skills
