Electrical Technician
Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Hours: 7:00am - 3:45pm Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 1:00pm Friday
Salary: £16.00 - £20.00 per hour (£33,280 - £41,600 based on 40 hours per week)
Benefits: 22 days holiday, rising to 25 after 1 year service + bank holidays

We are working with a fantastic client who is looking to bring an experienced, 18th Edition-qualified, apprentice-trained Panel Wirer into their small but dedicated electrical department.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in everything from panel building and interpreting wiring diagrams to electrical fault finding and light mechanical assembly. It's a great opportunity to join a supportive team where your skills and experience will be genuinely valued.

Duties to Include:
* Building electrical panels in commercial and industrial environments
* Reading and interpreting circuit and wiring diagrams
* Implementing electrical requirements in real-life components
* Testing and inspecting panels to ensure functionality
* Electrical fault diagnosis
* Inspecting and reworking panels as needed
* Examining and testing control products, standard panels and wired systems
* Completing associated mechanical assembly work as required.
Skills/experience required:
* Ideally apprentice trained 18th edition qualified panel wirer
* Able to read and interpret circuit and wiring diagrams
* Experience in testing and inspection completed panels
* Experience in fault diagnosis
* Able to complete mechanical assembly work as required
* The ability to work within a small team
