SEND LSA /Learning Support assistant- Birmingham

The role dictates working in a team as an LSA, you'll be given the chance to work with students in KS1 to KS5 and up to age 19. This is a great environment for a caring, creative person to shine.
The classroom environment consists of small groups with a high ratio of Teachers and LSAs to cater to students with a range of needs, including autism and physical difficulties. It's Important to offer motivation and purpose for each child, building on communication, functional, social and life skills for pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties.
The position requires a positive outlook, a great sense of class room management and a willingness to get involved. Putting the student's welfare and health and safety first is paramount. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.
The position is on a supply basis with the potential for a long-term contract, so building. We are looking to fill this role as soon as possible.
