Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a small, well-established manufacturing business based in Redditch, who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to take ownership of their finance function. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit organisation where your work will have direct visibility and impact, reporting directly into the Director.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will lead the preparation of monthly management accounts including full P&L, gross margin and balance sheet reporting, alongside detailed variance analysis. You will take ownership of the month-end process, ensuring accuracy across journals, accruals and prepayments, while maintaining strong financial controls through reconciliations and governance.

Alongside core reporting, you will produce detailed cashflow forecasts to support strategic decision-making, manage intercompany processes, and take the lead on a full accounting system migration for one entity. You will also support budgeting through scenario modelling and ensure compliance through accurate ONS reporting.

• Experience producing full management accounts with strong P&L and balance sheet exposure
• Confident managing month-end processes including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse data and produce meaningful financial insight
• Experience with cashflow forecasting, intercompany reconciliations or system improvements

• A broad and varied role with full ownership of the finance function
