Are you a qualified and passionate Secondary Teacher looking for your next role in Erdington, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull or nearby areas?

First for Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Secondary Teachers across a wide range of subjects. We work with a large network of secondary schools in Erdington, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, and throughout Birmingham to provide long-term and temp-to-perm teaching opportunities.

Whether you specialise in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, PE, the Arts, Technology, or another secondary subject, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons to KS3 and KS4 (KS5 if applicable)

* Assess, track and support student progress in line with school policies

* Create a safe, positive, and respectful learning environment

* Build strong relationships with students, colleagues and parents/carers

* Contribute to wider school life, including departmental planning and extracurricular activities

What You'll Need:

* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Strong subject knowledge in your specialism

* A commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion, and high standards

* Excellent behaviour management and organisational skills

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

* Two recent, relevant references
