BDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Assistant to work within a retirement living service based in the Darlington, DL3 area.

The beautiful service hosts just 30 self contained flats for older adults, 55 plus, who live independently and your role will be to support the day to day running of the scheme.

Your duties will include but will not be limited too;

· Conducting health and safety checks

· Carrying out welfare checks with residents

· Supporting resident engagement e.g arranging game nights, group activities and day trips etc

· Supporting with managing voids, tenancies, lettings

We are looking for someone with an element of Housing experience who has also worked alongside older adults.

Hours; 15 hours per week- extremely flexible how this is worked - will in between Monday- Friday 9am- 5pm

Pay rate; £14.26ph PAYE - £16.98ph UMB

This is a temp ongoing position for 6 months, possibility to extend/ go perm following this
