Key Responsibilities of a Chiller Engineer:

* Commission, service, and maintain a variety of industrial and commercial chiller and HVAC systems.

* Conduct planned preventative maintenance, including routine inspections and cleaning, to ensure optimal system performance.

* Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on mechanical and electrical components.

* Troubleshoot complex issues involving refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.

* Maintain consistently high service standards across all tasks and client interactions.

* Accurately complete service reports and documentation for all work undertaken.

* Provide technical advice, support, and occasional training to clients and colleagues.

* Follow all health, safety, and company compliance requirements always.

Required Qualifications & Skills for a Chiller Engineer:

* Hands-on experience working with a range of chiller equipment and systems.

* In-depth knowledge of refrigeration principles, chiller operations, and HVAC systems.

* FGAS certification (essential).

* Industry-recognised qualifications such as NVQs or equivalent in a relevant field.

* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

* A genuine passion for engineering with a proactive and enthusiastic approach.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team interactions.

* Professional attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

* Full, valid UK driving licence required.
