Automatic & Industrial Door Engineer

Covering the North West

£18 - £20 per hour + Overtime

Full-Time - Permanent

We're looking for a skilled Automatic & Industrial Door Engineer to join a growing team covering Manchester and the wider North West. If you have experience with installation, service, and repair of industrial and automatic door systems, we want to hear from you.

The Role

You'll carry out servicing, repairs, and installations across a wide range of sites—working with sectional doors, roller shutters, automatic sliding and swing doors, and more. The role involves both planned maintenance and emergency call-outs.

Key Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair automatic and industrial doors

Fault-find and carry out reactive repairs

Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety regulations

Maintain accurate job records and paperwork

Deliver excellent service to clients across commercial and industrial sites

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in automatic/industrial door systems

Knowledge of products such as shutters, sectional, overhead, and auto doors

Relevant qualifications (e.g. ADSA, DHF, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) preferred

Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills

Full UK driving licence (essential)

Flexibility to cover a regional patch and take part in overtime rota
