The School and Role 

This large, 'Outstanding' secondary academy located in scarborough are looking to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to work with their SEN learners within the classroom. 

This will be on a full time basis, ranging from group to 1-1 sessions. Working in this secondary academy as part of an established team, the desired Teaching Assistant will provide a engaging and positive learning environment, they will have a clear knowledge on SEN and provide inclusivity in the classroom. This full time Teaching Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent.


The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

Experience of working with secondary school aged children.
Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
An ability to work as part of a team.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

Willing to complete our FREE safeguarding course. 
Willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service 
Hold a Level 2 or 3 Education, Health or Childcare based qualification.
