Salary: £30000 - £35000/annum ote circa +£ 20k

This successful and well-established financial services company is looking for a Mortgage Advisor / Protection Advisor to join their talented team of profesisonals in the Cheltenham / Gloucester area.
This is both an Account Manager and a Business Development role... working with and nurturing relationships with a base of regular customers as well as opening conversations with new business leads. These will often be warm, incoming leads though some will no doubt come through your own new business efforts, networking, through referrals and the like.
This is a permanent, full time position that will involve:
* Handling and managing incoming Mortgage enquiries and incoming leads via email and telephone
* Offering Mortgage advice to clients and advising on Protection Policies such as Life Assurance, Critical Illness Cover, Buildings & Contents Insurance, and Income Protection
* Regular e-mail and telephone communication with clients and consultants
* Making follow-up calls to progress cases
* Adhering to company KPI's and deadlines
* Working to monthly targets
* Client and team meetings
A full-time, permanent role, you will be office based but will spend time in front of customers, in the field. The Person:
* 2 years+ experience as a Mortgage Advisor, having previously worked in mortgages with an independent or Estate Agency background, on complex cases ideally.
* Experience and clear understanding of compliance and adherence to procedures
* Insurance experience
* Ambitious and keen to progress within your career.
* Strong analytical skills to assess the market for the most suitable products to offer clients.
* A polite and professional telephone manner
* Smart, presentable and switched on
* Thorough and accurate with strong admin skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* IT literate with proficiency with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
