HLTA - Derby

TeacherActive are currently recruiting for a Primary HLTA in Derby. The role will be working and supporting the class teacher through PPA cover and general classroom support.

The ideal candidate would have strong behaviour management skills and can lead class lessons in the absence of the class teacher with a specialism in either Maths or English. The ideal candidate would have the view to become a key team member of the school.

Expectations

• Strong communication skills with both staff and pupils
• Similar experience in a school setting of minimum 1 year
• A strong bubbly person who is looking for an exciting new challenge
• Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
• work with students who require additional support
• Leading group work
• Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
