Job Role: Deputy SENCo.

Location: Havering, Essex.

Full-Time, 5 days per week, Interim position.

Initial 1 x Term Contract.

Salary: £200 - £250 per day depending on experience.

Start Date: September 2025.

Job Role:

To support the current SENCo and oversee the development of the ASD unit. The school has a growing ASD unit and a specialist HI department which is run by a Head of Department.

Initially this will be on an on-going, 1 x Term interim basis with the school looking to extend the contract into 2026.

The Client:

Our client is a secondary school based in Havering, Essex. They have been graded as “good” by Ofsted.

The SEN needs of the students are lower than average with the main needs being ASD, Hearing Impairment and Behaviour.

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will ideally hold a SENCo qualification and have previous Deputy SENCo experience or be an experienced SEN Leader.
