Job Description


  • Receive and confirm shipping documents received are in compliance with requirements
  • Coordinate cargo availability and arrange pickup / delivery
  • Data entry
  • Packaging and processing of orders including labeling
  • Issuing packing lists, invoices and other necessary documentations
  • Will produce shipping documents for domestic and international shipments
  • Distribute shipping documents as required
  • Assist monitoring and maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies
  • Coordinate with freight carriers as needed
  • Determine method of shipment
  • May assist in receiving materials and check for accuracy of materials and documentations. Inspect products to ensure they are not damaged, missing etc.
  • Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
  • Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against purchase orders, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, broken or unidentified packages
  • Prepares purchase orders and other documents as needed
  • Other responsibilities as directed by leadership


  • Detailed oriented, include strong attention to accuracy
  • Must be highly motivated and self-directed with ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment rapidly identifying problems, developing and implementing an appropriate solution
  • Ability to demonstrate basic math and dimensional counting skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Acrobat, including the ability to create reports, documents, and spreadsheets in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Bilingual ability in English and Spanish
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive operational, supplier and vendor information
  • Prior work experience shipping with FedEx and UPS
  • 3+ years in a similar role preferred
  • High School diploma required
