About the Role:As a Despatch Operative, you'll be a key part of the final stage in the production process, ensuring customer orders are packed correctly, handled with care, and dispatched on time. You'll be working in a busy warehouse environment, helping to maintain a smooth and efficient despatch operation.
Despatch Operative - Immediate Start
Location: Brough (HU15)
Pay Rate: £14.30 per hour
Shifts: Sunday - Friday
Hours: 6:00 AM - Finish
Job Type: Full-Time | Ongoing
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:Accurately pick and pack products ready for despatch
Label and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements
Load completed orders onto transport vehicles
Perform final quality checks before items leave the site
Use handheld scanners or systems to record dispatch data
Work closely with production, warehouse, and transport teams
Maintain clean and organised despatch areas, adhering to health & safety standards
Support stock rotation and basic stock handling tasks when required
About You:Previous experience in a despatch, warehouse, or logistics role (preferred but not essential)
Good attention to detail and accuracy in order handling
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable and flexible approach to shift patterns
A team player with good communication skills
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
