A bit about the role:

Every day is different. Some days are tough. But every day, you'll be doing something that really matters.

You'll:

• Be a calm, steady presence in a child's life when they need it most
• Supporting children with daily routines-school, meals, homework, activities
• Use a trauma-informed approach to help them feel safe, understood, and valued
• Help young people manage their emotions and behaviours in a positive, respectful way
• Working as part of a close-knit team that's got each other's backs and works together to give children the best care possible
• Keeping the home tidy, safe, and a place to be proud of
• Writing reports and logs to help keep things running smoothly and safely

You'll need:

• Life experience from any background - we'll provide full training!
• A calm, caring and reliable personality
• Willingness to learn about trauma-informed care (don't worry, we'll teach you)
• A full UK driving licence and be over the age of 21
• Willingness to work shifts, including sleep-ins

• We usually work around 11 day shifts (8am-11pm) per month, and 7-10 sleep-ins
• We'll support you through your Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare if you don't already have it
