We are currently looking for a dedicated and resilient IT Teacher to join our team in a specialist setting. Your role will be essential in re-engaging students with learning and supporting them to achieve their best through a trauma-informed approach.

Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and differentiated IT/Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment tailored to SEMH needs
- Adapt teaching methods to meet a range of complex learning and sensory needs
- Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs and build positive relationships
- Collaborate with a skilled team of TAs and therapists to implement effective support strategies
- Maintain regular communication with staff and parents regarding student progress and well-being
- Support students in building digital confidence and positive learning habits
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is essential
- Relevant IT teaching experience with 2 professional/proven references
- Experience in SEMH or SEN settings is desirable, but a resilient and empathetic attitude is essential
- An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
- Right to work in the UK - Essential (sponsorship is not available with this role)
- Strong behavior management skills and a patient, trauma-informed approach
- Being passionate about specialized teaching and learning
