Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Social Science Teacher with a passion for subjects like Sociology, Psychology, Criminology, or Health & Social Care? A dynamic and high-achieving secondary school in Hereford is seeking a talented Social Science Teacher to join their thriving Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty from September 2025 on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to contribute to a forward-thinking and supportive educational environment.

About the Role:

Deliver high-quality lessons in Sociology, with potential to teach Psychology, Criminology, or Health & Social Care depending on your expertise

*

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students in KS4 and KS5

*

Participate actively in curriculum planning, departmental meetings, and enrichment opportunities

*

Contribute to the school's wider pastoral and academic support programmes

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS or a recognised teaching qualification with a degree in a Social Science subject
