Stores Operative

Permanent Position

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: £12.80 per hour
Location: Hythe
Start: ASAP

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a growing and well‑established business on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong stores or warehouse experience who is looking for stability and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing stock levels, goods in/goods out

* Operating forklifts where required (Counterbalance and Reach)

* Preparing orders and assisting with dispatch

* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

* General warehouse and stores duties as needed

* Locating items within the warehouse for the assembly line

* Using the booking system to document deliveries and dispatch

Required Skills & Experience

* Full UK Driving Licence - essential

* Experience within a warehouse, stores, or manufacturing environment preferred

* Counterbalance and Reach Truck experience - licence preferred but not essential

* Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
