We are seeking an experienced Disrepair Surveyor to join our team, delivering a high-quality surveying service across social housing properties. You will play a key role in ensuring effective management of disrepair cases, compliance repairs, and planned works, while providing professional expertise to residents, contractors, and stakeholders.

• Carry out detailed property surveys, inspections, and reporting on disrepair cases.

• Produce professional survey reports in line with Section 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act.

• Define clear scopes of work, specifications, and oversee contractor performance.

• Undertake pre- and post-inspections to ensure works are completed on time, to specification, and to a high standard.

• Provide photographic evidence and expert witness input where required.

• Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety, and statutory requirements.

• Support cost management, budget monitoring, and value-for-money delivery.

• Maintain accurate records and produce management reports.

• Degree or HNC in Building Surveying, Building Maintenance, or equivalent.

• RICS qualified (MRICS or FRICS) - essential.

• Proven experience in disrepair cases, housing defect diagnosis, and property inspections.

• Background in social housing is desirable.

• Strong knowledge of building legislation, regulations, and compliance.

• Excellent communication and customer care skills.

• Competent in Microsoft Office and able to produce high-quality reports.

• Full driving licence and own vehicle with business insurance (mileage paid).
