Reed are seeking a proactive and commercially astute Finance Manager to join a client’s dynamic Finance team. This role is crucial for ensuring robust financial control, compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth and strategic development.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Ensure that adequate financial and operational control procedures are in place and adhered to, covering aspects such as bank reconciliations, control account reconciliations, and adherence to IAS.
  • Manage the provision of all financial information to local operations, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow information, and performance metrics related to customers, brands, operating costs, and working capital.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all accounting ledgers and the adherence to financial control procedures related to decision-making.
  • Oversee local statutory obligations on reporting & filing to ensure completeness and accuracy of all internal and external financial information, ensuring it is "true and fair" from both a local and group perspective.
  • Manage end-to-end audit processes and local corporate, employee, employer, and sales tax obligations.
  • Report on and provide conclusions around each business financial forecasting process including budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
  • Review, change, and develop reporting, analysis, and control processes to facilitate business improvement.
  • Manage and develop the local team to ensure achievement of the above responsibilities and their individual job accountabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably within a dynamic and growing organisation.
  • Strong understanding of financial and operational control procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting ledgers, financial reporting, and tax obligations.
  • Ability to manage comprehensive financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of managing both local and regional financial expectations.

This role is 4 days in the office and 1 from home.
