Suffolk County Council require an experienced social worker to work for Children and Young People Services.The responsibility of the Children and Young People’s Directorate (CYP) is to ensure the safety, well-being and learning of children and young people. To do so they need to “make every intervention count” to create impact and bring about sustainable change for children, young people and their families where need is identified. Children and Young People services are looking for an experienced social worker to join the Leaving Care team for an initial three month temporary placement. As an experienced social worker you will be responsible for your own caseload of young people who are in care and require support to prepare fr independence. You will need to ensure that all statutory duties are completed and will be expected to take part in duty rota and group work.
