Exciting Opportunity: SHEQ Manager
Location: Covering Southern and London Regions (Flexible base - London or Lancing)
Salary: Up to £75,000 + Package

About the Role
Hill McGlynn is partnering with a leading construction company to recruit a highly motivated SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee health and safety standards across multiple regions, including a current project in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, conducting site audits, and fostering a culture of safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct site audits every two weeks at the Liverpool project to ensure compliance with SHEQ standards.

* Develop, implement, and maintain SHEQ policies and procedures to meet legal and company standards.

* Support project teams across the South and London regions with SHEQ training, advice, and support.

* Lead incident investigations and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.

* Monitor and report on SHEQ performance, recommending improvements where necessary.

* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and external bodies to promote SHEQ best practices.

* Ensure all sites adhere to current health and safety legislation and industry standards.

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience in a SHEQ management role within the construction industry.

* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.

* Experience conducting site audits, ideally every two weeks, across multiple locations.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills.

* Ability to work independently and travel between sites, primarily covering the Liverpool project, with regional responsibilities.

Location & Flexibility
This role can be based at either our London office or our Lancing office, offering flexibility to suit your preferences.
