This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.

You will be involved in the day-to-day preparation and service of food and beverages for students, staff, and visitors across campus dining facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation of food and beverages
Serving food and drinks in a friendly and professional manner
Operating tills and handling cash or card payments where required
Ensuring all food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards are followed
Clearing tables, washing up, and maintaining clean kitchen and service areas
Stock rotation and basic replenishment of supplies
Supporting colleagues during busy service periods

What We're Looking For

Previous catering or customer service experience
A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work different shifts, including mornings, evenings, or weekends
A basic Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage

This role is based on a university campus
